The swim rider short is a unique size compared to some of the other models of jigs Nature Boys make. They’re shorter and much thicker than any of their other jigs keeping the size small enough to match the bait we have in SoCal. These are especially effective during the day when the bite is picky, they have more action and they’re a lot more fun to fish than a sinker rig. Pair this with a nice light jigging setup and you’ve got a combo that will work well on yellowtail and bluefin. As with the rest of the Nature Boys jigs we carry, they’re made of iron which is less dense than lead but it is a lot more resistant to bending or damage so they’ll last longer than your comparable Streaker or Rip Roller.
The 205g jigs are 195mm long and 19.5mm wide and the 295g is 220mm long and 21mm wide, both sizes are quite thick to maintain the short length.
