With components that benefit everyone from charter captains to the average angler, the Karbine comes equipped with all double-footed, tangle-free guides, all full EVA grips extended in length from our standard rods, designed to sit in rod holders + provide leverage when fighting fish.

***The reel seats on the Karbine Tarpon rod will fit any FFP, Shimano, Diawa reel up to and including 10k size (FFP 8000 Resolute is tight). If you are wanting to use a Penn reel, we suggest looking at the Brute Force Tarpon rod or a Kaman rod instead, as a Penn reel foot is too large for this rod.
