Solid carbon fiber blanks have become increasingly more popular for jigging due to the very even bend and high durability under load, since these blanks have a ton of hoop strength they do not tend to oval which is generally how rods start to break. JYG Pro has come out with a full lineup of solid carbon all the way from <100g up to 700g, they are very thin and powerful for their weight and you can put a full bend in them when fishing. 

A lot of manufacturers like Daiwa have embraced this technology and brought it out on multiple lineups of rods due to how practical they are for most fishermen. The only downside vs tubular designs is weight and sensitivity which is why they try to minimize the diameter of these rods as much as possible. The other issue is that there's no way to give the rod a different taper but for jigging you want a parabolic bend.
